Absolutely love your The Fundamentals of Putting book, its by far the best guide for successful putting ever published. The geometry of the fall line and aiming point offered is academically correct, if only we had true fall lines! Finding that line is mostly impossible for any distance over three feet from the hole because the fall line does not run on a straight line, and it drives me nuts trying to figure out the nearest to a straight line. Water runs with gravity. so I have poured water on the green to find the fall line but I cannot prove one, it changes direction as it flows, about the same as my ball shifts direction on its roll. What am I missing? Whiskey
