On short putts, aim at a blade of grass on the back lip of the hole. This will ensure that you aim more carefully and leave nothing to chance!
Remember that the effective size of a hole at 3 feet is the same as a 14 inch diameter hole at 10 feet, so putt with the same confidence on a 3 footer as you would when putting to a 14 inch diameter hole at 10 feet. Don’t let the little voices in your head convince you otherwise on a short putt.
