It is almost impossible to execute a good and natural putting stroke with a putter which is ill-suited to your stature. Make sure that your putter works for you by following the steps below.
Make sure your eyes are over the ball and in a comfortable address position and your arms are relaxed and relatively straight. Then grip the putter by bring your hands together into the gripping position without bending the arms to any extent. The putter should not extend above the upper hand by more than about ½ an inch.
