I don’t have a lot of money to change clubs that often, but every spring I regrip all my clubs for the season. Also during the season, a little soap and water keeps them feeling new (dish soap and a brush takes off all the oils and sweat).
Once in a while, I will change my driver and wedge grips for a second time during the season since i use those clubs the most. I play about 60-80 rounds a year in the northeast.
