  1. Frank-on your discussion of graphite vs steel shafts, you brought up Shakespeare Co- which I do recall. Weren’t they in fishing equipment, then transitioned to golf with their new technology?

    Gary Player, who at the time was the sole lonely proponent of training in the gym-previously a golf no no, was an early adapter to clubs with these shafts. Am I correct in my recollection?

    Another example of his prescient, non-traditional attitude about new thinking to improve his golf game at the time.
