I live in a part of the country where it’s often too cold for golf November through April. The good news is that we have an indoor driving range. Can I take my graphite-shaft clubs right from the trunk of my car and hit them while they’re cold? Should I even keep them in my car during the winter?

Just like you, your graphite shafts are a little more brittle when they are cold and may feel a little stiffer at really cold temperatures. I suggest you and the shafts warm up before you go into full swing. However, storing your shafts in the trunk during the winter will not harm them, but if you want them to treat you well, I would suggest that you keep them indoors.
