  1. HI Frank.. Wow! 50+ straight years of the PGA Show! Congratulations! Reminds me of myself in joining the USGA in 1973, trying to jockey myself into being the #1 “civilian” Charter Member of the upcoming USGA launching effort by the USGA with Arnold Palmer slated for 1975….I almost made it with the #1 Charter Member (well maybe?) but they snuck in a guy named President Gerald Ford ahead of me, and maybe a bunch of other people too, but I’ve been a loyal USGA Charter Member for every single year since then….48 years and counting, and proud of it!!…. 2. Thanks for the video! I would love to see some outdoor videos that give us putting drills to practice our putting. Minus-5 in Minnesota & I need to see someone in warm weather.

  3. I’ll be interested in what you find this year. Will it be an actual new discovery, or will it be a coat of new paint? Till then, I’ll stick with my old worn Frog!

  4. Love having access to your advice online, Frank. I attended one PGA show when I was a young ad salesman working for Golf World in 2001 or so. One of my personal highlights was getting to meet you and spend a little time with you at the Gold Digest/Golf World exhibit.

I remember that we had a sign set up that said “Meet Frank Thomas” on the day you were with us, and quite a few people stopped by to talk to you. I also remember the abject disappointment of two youngsters who appeared at the booth and asked me “where is Frank Thomas”. I pointed to you, and it was obvious that these kids were expecting the home run hitting pro baseball player, and they were equally crestfallen and confused.

Anyway, unlike these kids, I’ve been a fan for quite a while, and while it’s probably too late for you to make it as a baseball player, I want to express my thanks and appreciation for all that you’ve contributed to THIS sport.

    • Stephen, we remember that moment with the youngsters very clearly as well and it’s one of our favorite “Frank Thomas” moments. It’s very funny you remember it as well all these years later! Thank you so much for your kind comments. Frank and Valerie
